Wigginton Pond
Wigginton Pond is situated on Mill Lane and provides a home for many wild birds and a natural, peaceful centrepiece in the village. It has seating for people who wish to stay a while to enjoy the beautiful pond and wildlife. It has previously been voted one of the top 5 ponds in Yorkshire! In the coming months, we are hoping that there will renovation works commencing at Wigginton Pond to replace and strengthen the wooden sides, redefine the edges and redesign areas to encourage biodiversity within and around the pond. Watch this space!
