Wigginton Parish Council
Notice to Residents – Memorial Benches and Tables
The Parish Council understands and deeply respects the wish of families and friends to remember loved ones within our village spaces. Memorial benches and tables provide a peaceful and lasting way to do so, and we want these areas to remain places of quiet reflection and shared enjoyment for all.
We kindly remind residents that attaching flowers, ornaments, pictures, or other decorations to memorial benches or tables is not permitted. These additions, while placed with the best of intentions, can create difficulties in maintaining public spaces and may cause damage or present safety issues.
To keep our community areas tidy and respectful for everyone, any such items found attached will be removed by the Parish Council.
We thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping to maintain the dignity and appearance of our shared spaces.
With thanks,
Wigginton Parish Council
